I've become allergic to almost all foods, and spend most days spaced out with allergy headaches, unable to concentrate or focus, a vegetable, unable to do things I need to do to take care of myself.

If my already compromised detox pathways weren't overwhelmed by killing helicobacter pylori I could take probiotics and knock down the food allergies, but adding to my toxic load isn't possible at this time.

My doctor says it can take three to six months to kill the h. pylori. I just completed month two, and can't deal with constant allergy headaches like this another one to four months. It isn't possible.

If it wasn't for the Coronavirus I could go ahead and kill myself, but everything my wife would need to do to deal with my passing -- having a funeral, getting rid of my stuff in the house, inviting her cousin to come live with her -- are things that involve other people and can't happen when we're all locked in our houses. I need to wait until people are able to be together again until I can set myself free from this body.

With each passing week I lose more ground, hurt more, and lose more foods. This has been happening for two years, no matter what I do, no matter what I try, no matter what I take, which isn't much. The catch-22 that has kept me sick all these years is that my digestive problems keep me from taking the things that I need to take to fix my digestive problems.

When I am overwhelmed by pain I am beyond frustrated and discouraged, I am hopeless. The pain pills the pain doctor give me don't compensate for the inflammation caused by constant food allergies, and for the inflammation caused by (gut) infections.

I'm grateful that homeopathics have dealt with my Lyme and coinfections, and to be able to vent on this board.

My heart hurts for you GVS ❤️

Your sufferering is inexcusable as to the professional responsibilities of all of your medical providers. There is NO reason any patient should endure such pain and neglect. Your doctors should figure out what's going on and figure out a game plan for you. This is no way to live and your situation is dire. You are overwhelmed physical and mentally.

I can most certainly say you are worthy of a life worth living.
You haven't had any glimpses of that life in a long time.
This is the sobering problem.

I remember you had a fecal transplant. Do you think you deteriated soon after having it? If so, it could have been from the donor not being screened properly.

Maybe a new doctor is needed, a good LLMD, with a new set of eyes that will address each and everyone of your conditions.

Pain meds and antibiotics maybe can be administered by injection as to by-pass the digestive tract. Foods can be cooked and puréed as to reduce stomach upset. No raw vegetables, cooked. Sorry, just thinking of anything to help you. I feel so sorry fir you. I want you to want your life back.

GVS,
please dont give up. I don't know your story so I don't know how long you have been sick and all that, plus my brain is not working right lately....

but I can tell you that my gut has always been a major issue for me with the lyme and etc. my new LLMD is really helping me with this. I finally feel better after so long in that area of my body.

I take restorative drinks and use a very specific beneficial bacteria, etc. new dr also tells me so much inflamation comes from mold exposure and my genetic person tells me my genetics come into play too.

it is all just so overwhelming, BUT, I do see improvements finally and even though they are slow baby steps it does feel good to make some kind of progress.

I am just telling you this so you can maybe get some feeling from me that it is worth it to press on. I agree too that you may need a new dr. it's ok to keep looking . no dr knows everything. have you talked to your wife about how you feel - frankly?

God bless. [group hug]

This is not good! I'm wondering whether a really experienced gut doctor could figure out what's going on with you.

Gut doctors I'm aware of are Drs Donna Gates, Josh Axe, Jill Callahan, Michael Murray, Tom O'Bryan, Peter Osborne, Mark Hyman - perhaps you could read through their websites to see if something catches your eye - ie sounds like you? And then reach out to some of them. Maybe this is a puzzle you can't solve by yourself.

Ok, I am not a doctor, but my understanding re being allergic to all foods means undigested food is getting through your gut lining and your body is reacting to it all. I think the answer is going to lie in restoring your gut lining.

This is something for medical doctors, like the above-listed ones, to help you with who know what they're doing, ie, are experienced in dealing with what you're describing.

My gut can't tolerate the things gut doctors tell me to take. I can't tolerate the things the doctor I'm seeing tells me to take. If I go to a different doctor, I will bring home another bag of pills that make me feel worse instead of better.

Not all problems are fixable. Not all people are fixable. Acceptance of what is isn't a bad thing.
I don't mind suggestions, but this post wasn't a request for suggestions. It was blowing off some steam, and letting the universe know what's happening.

I am glad you felt safe and comfortable to vent here.

I am also glad you can see that ending your life is not a good option
now.

I hope you have someone nearby that you can talk to on a regular basis.

Sending good thoughts and wishes.

Stay safe,

GVS - have you tried the DNRS program?

There is a very good MCAS doctor in NC who may be able to help. If you have insurance, then cromolyn sodium or ketotifen may be your saving grace.

I'm not able to take herbs either, but the cromolyn has really helped me.

Have you also tried daily or twice a day H1's and H2's like Xyzal and Pepcid?

Keep searching...the answer is out there...just hang on!!!

Another possibility is LDN .. it has eased off some of my gut problems as of late.

I don't know if this is what's going on - experts in gut summits I have watched say that an inability to tolerate food means a leaky gut - it means undigested food is getting through so the body is reacting to everything. They are saying that the gut lining has to be healed. Something to research about, I guess. All the best -
