Hi Friends. It’s been a while, but as I’ve been reading about the Covid long haulers, I can’t help but think Lyme paved the way for this research now. And maybe will he’ll us get treatments that can help in the long run. I found this NYT article interesting.
I'm hoping it will help. I think infections can confuse our bodies. But, I keep thinking that if the infection is cleared, the body won't be so confused, unless we have other issues that confuse the body like eating the wrong foods, etc.
And aren't allergies sort of an autoimmune problem?
Anyway, I hope some good can come from the research.

Some of the research may also help those who have Mast Cell Activation Syndrome.
Some are getting MCAS from COVID. That could explain the ongoing symptoms for so many.

IDK, but I know for sure it is helping mast cell activation patients! my genetic person made a huge discovery.
so one would think in the end that would help lyme ppl because mast cell plays a HUGE part in all this

Thanks for sharing these articles, it's good to know more about the virus and how to protect ourselves from it.
I remember the first days of pandemic when people went crazy, buying everything left and right. The virus is not the end of the world, panic is. In my local stores all the cleaning substances, toilet papers and mask were sold.
I had to order everything from the internet. I got lucky finding clean4less , the prices were below average and I got everything I needed from there at a decent price, not x20 like in other places.

I've been wondering about the loss of smell and taste issue that COVID patients experience.
In my experience, it's been a loss of zinc (fighting the infection) that caused it for me. I would love to see an experiment done giving zinc to COVID patients and recovered patients to see whether it makes a difference.
