I've been at my job almost a year now. I was on social security disability for over 10 years. When i started working fulltime a year ago I let medicare and SS know this...uhhh legally I had to!

It took me months to get my name out of the system. I remember calling both places, on my lunch breaks to get this settled, faxing documents, talking to multiple ppl to let them know I was working fulltime and didn't need Medicare nor SS services anymore, I was reassured I was good to go.

Apparently in the Igenex system they STILL have me under Medicare. WHY??? I received an electronic health summary online from Medicare and thought that was weird. Sure enough the claims are all there. Over $1,000 from when I saw my LLMD back in late September.

Unbelievable. I just want to cry. I was actually in a good mood earlier. My family even noticed it, and now this happens. I just can't have 1 day.

I was prepared to pay Igenex out of pocket. I filled out the CORECTT and UPDATED info on the form in my llmds office.

I thought it was weird I never saw the charges in my checking account. Now I know why.

Has this ever happened to anyone?

Sorry for delay. Yes I called and they resubmitted it under my new insurance. I thought they only accepted Medicare.

Good deal.

I think you are lucky IF they will accept Medicare.

Nice to know your nightmare is over. Sometimes the direct approach is best in problem solving.

Praying my new insurance will cover it, or at least pay 80%
