I am so thankful for all he did for children with Lyme disease. Just amazing!

Very sad news indeed! May God rest his soul and reward him abundantly for all the good that he did. Dr. Jones went above and beyond to help so many children with Lyme, putting his own livelihood and everything on the line to do so!
We saw so many doctors and endured all sorts of things in the process, but no one could tell us what was wrong with our son many years ago. Dr. Jones was the only one who correctly diagnosed him and once treatment began, our son got better.
Our deepest sympathy goes out to his family - may Almighty God comfort them on their loss. The world has truly lost an amazing individual.

Very very sad. What a man. What a doctor.
He gave his ALL for the children and for every single Lyme patient out there.
We are indeed indebted to him.

I've never had the pleasure of meeting Dr Jones but have heard some heart touching incredible stories about him.
Not only was he an advocate for children with Lyme, but if memory serves correctly, he also marched with Dr Martin Luther King for our civil rights.
He was truly a light shining in the darkness.
My sincere condolences to his family.

That is true, aklnwlf - he marched with MLK and decided his greatest contribution to humanity would be through his doctoring. He did more than doctoring - he promised and delivered life back to those who needed it back - one of the greatest people ever to walk this earth as far as I'm concerned!

Does anyone know where condolences may be sent?

The details on Dr. Jones services have not been posted yet. The family has said they are in the process of making arrangements and when completed, will post on-line.
LLMD’s throughout the US and Europe have posted their experiences with Dr Jones on their instagram and facebook accounts. Heartfelt words of appreciation. He was truly respected.
Lyme advocates are trying to get in touch Senator Blumenthal, Senator Murphy and local congressman’s for eulogy.
Lyme advocates also would like flags at half mast and a mention of condolences on NPR and C-SPAN.

I have been looking online for a while to find Dr. Jones' obituary and any info where we can send our condolences (sympathy card, etc.) I have not been able to find anything (am not on Facebook).
Was there a funeral and does anyone have a name/address where we can send cards to his family?

Include information about who is in the picture, along with where and when the picture was taken.”

It's always tough losing someone who made such a positive impact on people's lives. I just stumbled upon this post while browsing for some info. It's been a rough day for me, too, as my uncle passed away today. As I was scrolling through the comments, I came across the mention of memorial bench ideas . I had never thought about that before, but it's such a great idea. It can serve as a tangible reminder of the positive impact someone had on our lives like Dr. Jones did for so many in the Lyme community. May he rest in peace and continue to be remembered for his dedication and compassion.
