Wow ,especially the 10Xs the amount, we've heard it before, but others didn't seem to want to believe it for a while.
There was one up in the states here,for dogs some years back... I remember thinking if the dogs can contract this so can the humans.

I do like this site, but although the world numbers are through 2021, the US map shows only numbers through 2019.

NOTE- The treatment guidelines Johns Hopkins' doctors follow (Infectious Disease Society of America- IDSA) were published in 2000, slightly updated in 2006 (minor changes), and are currently 13 years old.
These old guidelines do not utilize any of the current science or studies generated over the past decade. They were removed from the National Guideline Clearinghouse, however, they continue to be promoted at Johns Hopkins.
An investigation by the CT Attorney General found the guideline authors (some from Johns Hopkins) to be riddled with conflicts of interest.
AG Blumenthal stated... "The IDSA's 2006 Lyme disease guideline panel undercut its credibility by allowing individuals with financial interests -- in drug companies, Lyme disease diagnostic tests, patents and consulting arrangements with insurance companies -- to exclude divergent medical evidence and opinion."
[To make matters worse, some of the Hopkins doctors have actively participated in attacking Lyme patients, LLMD's, speciality labs, etc. in journal, blog and news articles in an attempt to deny the existence of chronic Lyme disease and prevent patients from being treated.]

All good info, Bonnie. However... There are two kinda opposing factions on tick-borne diseases at Johns Hopkins. One is the Clinical Director, Division of Infectious Diseases. That division is responsible for patient treatment at several sites.
