Well, I'm rooting for Elyse Testone. There are only 6 contestants left. Elyse blows me away with her powerful rocker voice. Jessica Sanchez's voice is otherworldly!

Elyse is good, fun to listen to... she won't make it though. Jessica is unbelievable!

You're right - she's in the bottom 3 every week. If she could repeat the Robert Plant week she might have a better shot. Predictions? I predict Phillip Phillips will win. What do you think?

Currently watching and my favorite's name is actually spelled "Elise". So, Elise just slayed a Queen song and now I'm eagerly awaiting her second song.
I like Hollie Cavanagh and she actually made me cry with her Queen song. She got a bit emotional during her song because it dealt with not wanting to go through life alone and feeling naked and emotional. I thought it was beautiful and I cried. Well, the judges must have it in for her because they were just half-thrilled with it, and Jennifer Lopez says she's not showing "enough emotion" right after criticizing her for her voice going off a bit in the middle due to emotion (huh?). I didn't hear her voice go off at all, but who am I?
They've got it in for Elise, too. Don't know as they see her as "marketable".
I think the judges like Jessica, Joshua, and Skylar best. I think the fans like Phillip best. And I, your humble correspondent, like Hollie and Elise best. I just want to hear Elise over and over. If she doesn't win, I hope she still gets a record deal!

Elise will definitely have a record deal.
This is the first year I'm not "sure" who will win. Could be Phillip since it's mostly teeny bopper girls who vote.
I like Hollie too and wonder why they don't like her. She was my fav for awhile.
Jessica is the BEST vocalist... not sure people like her.. can't figure out why.
Skylar is really good and was one of my favs early on... now I'm beginning to think she could win. It's hard for the girls to win these days.

Yeah, I think the judges have it in for Joshua Ledet. Randy says he's one of the best singers he's heard in the 11 years he's done the show. REALLY, Randy??
If Hollie can pull off what she did this last week, America might take her to the top. I think Phil is out of his league and he knows it. If ge wins, then they need to change their voting methods.
For me, Hollie for the win!

Can't believe Phillip beat out Josh for the top two! I am shocked! Glad Jessica made it though. Hope Josh gets a record deal...he is terrific.
I will be dumbfounded if Phillip wins this. Felt that way when David Cook won.

Was watching Clay Aiken on Celebrity Apprentice who was runnerup to Rubin Studdard in season?? Clay had a bigger career. I like Clay, and he has a great voice.

Me Too...I was rooting for Clay also. Maybe it's just me, but Phillip is just another singer with a guitar. I am worried about his health...he has a bad kidney that needs to be operated on ASAP says his docs.
I think Jessica has a really powerful voice. I will be surprised if she wins though. Take a look at a singer by the name of Sam Kelly on Britains got talent. I loved him.
Pudsey the dog won...Really cute, but???????? A million dollar dog act over some really good talent.
BTW, William Levy from Dancing With The Stars, is a former student of a professor friend who lives here in my bldg. He was here not too long ago visiting and I missed him...darn...Good looking guy.

I can't stand it!!! Phillips beat out Jessica???? She is a much more powerful singer. He is just not in the same league, period!! She will have a career hopefully. It will be interesting to watch. Oh well, I'll just drink some more salt and call it a night.

I wondered what was wrong with Phillip. I knew he had been to the hospital a few times during the competition.

I predicted Phillip would win and he DID grow on me in the end. I have to give him credit for sticking it out - he looked very ill quite often during the show. And what's this about David Cook? He is one of my ALL-TIME favorite Idol singers! I love Clay Aiken. I read his autobiography some years ago. He had a tough time growing up - his father did not love him.
