Don,
What browser are you using? What is your operating system?

When you say NOW - does this mean you have an on-going problem?

Don,
I see the information that I asked for in another message regarding the problem you are having with the virus scanner pop up. I'd get the other problem fixed before bothering with this problem.

Hi Don,
I gave instructions on your address bar in the other message. Sorry I didn't see that you had posted back to this one until just now.

In looking at my mozilla - hopefully the same version as yours or at least the same interface - I find that you can go to the menubar at the top of your browser page, click on 'view', click on 'toolbars', click on 'customize toolbar'. From here you can drag icons to your toolbar and get the functionality that you want back.

In the box that appeared when you followed the directions above, search around for the back and forward icons and drag them onto the toolbar. Do the same with the reload button.

Virtual memory isn't RAM. RAM is physical memory - that is - memory that is physically installed on your computer.

Virtual memory is memory that the operating system - in your case windows XP - assigns as a scratch pad. It helps when you don't have enough RAM but most operating systems use some virtual memory even when you have enough RAM. The operating system uses some of your hard disk space for virtual memory.

Check to see if your hard disk is low on free space. Check back in here and let me know how everything goes and if your hard drive is getting full. If you don't know how to check that, I'll search around and find out how. If it is getting full you'll have to free up some space.

Might be a little difficult for me to walk you through this because I don't have the same operating system as you but I'm sure I can find a site that can walk you through it. Most operating systems have a way that you can tell it to allocate more virtual memory. We may need to do that.

More RAM is always nice - how much do you have now?
