Thank you for the info on these radio programs.

bettyg,

The links to listen to the show are streaming realaudio links, not downloadable files - if you would like to pm me I might be able to walk you through this problem.

For now, for you and anyone else that might need them, I am recording the programs into audio files (mp3) that you can download and double click and listen on your own computer audio software.

I will post with the program files when I am done recording them today.

I have put both downloadable files on a free site for sharing media files called Mediafire. You do NOT have to create an account, login, or pay for anything to download these files.

1. WNYC Leonard Lopate - "Cure Unknown" 29.1 MB (fixed the file per MsWillo's post - thank you MsWillo!)

the file that you will be downloading is named "WNYCLeonardLopate7.1.08-CureUnknown.mp3"

2. WPR Joy Cardin - "Cure Unknown" 22.1 MB

the file that you will be downloading is named "WPRJoyCardin7.2.08-CureUnknown.mp3"

Just right-click (or control-click on Mac) where it says "Click here to start download.." and download the mp3 to your computer.

If anyone has questions about how to get these files or has any problems please pm me and I will try to help you through it.

Pam was great, so were the callers. Lot's of newbies who couldn't get help, relapsing, etc.

I think the Joy Cardin interview was great! I would love to see it picked up by other stations. I contacted a local talk show host in my area to tell her about the interview and asked that she consider inviting her to her own show. You never know....if one or two do it, and others find out that it is well-received, they may want to jump on the bandwagon!

Can you think of someone in your own area?

Yes, the Joy Cardin show was SO much better thanks to all the patients who called in -they were the best, most knowledgeable interviewers one could have.
