Lyme Disease legislation
The award-winning documentary "Under Our Skin" will be shown at
the Oak Street Cinema 309 Oak St. S.E. Minneapolis
Nov, 8, 9 and 10
(parking ramp just south of theater).
You will see patients who struggled to find a doctor who could properly diagnose/treat Lyme disease and the doctors who were able to
successfully treat them before being censured for following guidelines established by the insurance industry.
This event is part of the effort to pass the legislation that will give doctors more freedom to treat Lyme disease (Minnesota State Senate Bill S F Number 1631).
State Sen. Ray Vandeveer, co-author of the Senate bill, and Rep. John Ward, sponsor of the House bill, will speak before the Sunday show, Nov. 8, at 5 p.m.
Call or write your legislators to encourage support of this important legislation.
If you are unable to attend the Oak Street Cinema event, order your own copy of the DVD from openeyepictures.com.
The Lyme disease display window at the Crosslake Area Library provides updated information for those deeply concerned about Lyme disease, the "Unknown Epidemic."
