The Senate bill **PASSED** the committee today! We are hopeful for the House committee on 2/11 and then full floor voting in a few weeks.

WAY TO GO. We have a hearing with the House TOMORROW in New Hampshire. Hopefully we can do as well as you.

Let's keep this ball rolling as we go through the states.

OK. Much news has developed in Minnesota. I am honored to work with such dedicated and truly heroic people in this fight.

I can't divulge the outcome yet, but here is what I can say:

Yesterday, the House hearing on the Bill went 2 HOURS after being scheduled for 30 minutes. The usual arguments were heard, with a significant amount of passion on both sides.

Right before the patient testimony, (my group), I was told that the bill would be tabled. A "new agreement" has been reached.

Think New York!

More to come.

Keep on, keepin' on!

Ahhh ha!

My guess is it is a Patatki agreement?

We all fought hard to get that years ago, the NY group especially. I believe I wrote more letters to that fellow than I've written to anyone. What a tuff one he was ... but with persistence we finally did get 'er done.

And that approach worked for NY... and it is working in Maryland too.

And it helped the LLMD in VA that was nailed unjustly too...

When the Patatki ruling was mentioned... bing bang boom they dropped the charges.

Way to go MN.. good deal!!!!

Congratulations!

May I have this dance?

Since it is just a guess and tincup might not have been sworn to secrecy. Can you give a bit more info about this "patatki agreement"????

Thanks a ton of tons.

Go Minnesota!

Just so you know that I am totally guessing.

And I called it that (Pataki agreement) for lack of something better.

But look at April 2002.

And remember... I didn't say that....

I think I understand.

Has the governor of MN said anything about the LD bill? Sign? Veto? Nothing?
