Hi everyone,

Today is primary day for local politicians in my area.
One of my favorite days of the year.

I finally get the chance to get in their ears, instead of the other way around. Elected leaders are so hungry for your vote that they are literally your captive audience.

Last month they were walking the neighborhood, introducing themselves to their constituents (us).

I sat on my porch with 2 of them, had coffee, and educated them on Lyme disease.

Maybe they aren't in a position to help but they rub elbows with people who can. Networking is the name of the game in their profession. Both candidates were a willing audience, asking questions, and sympathizing.

So today, while in pain and moving slowly, I went to vote. Both candidates were out front voting place, shaking hands. I walked up, shook hands, introduce myself, and thanked them for listening. I told them that I would vote for them, so I kept my word.

Whether it helps or not, I makes me feel good. I will never rest until we are treated with dignity and respect. Love Ya All.

P.S. One of the candidate's father is head of the local county health dept. I gave him special attention, ha ha.
