Has anyone else developed this?
This is old news for me, as suddenly popped up about three years ago (I was Dx'd in 2006).
I have been to a couple of ENT's and have asked two LLMDs about it a couple of times, but nobody seems too concerned about it aside from me. Given the location, reactivation of early AB EBV at around the same time as I noticed it, and those darn crimson crescents then too, I'm concerned that it's harboring viruses, perhaps TBIs, and who knows what other nasty bits.
(Nope, it's not a tonsil stone- hubby gets those so I'm familiar with them; this is actually a fleshy little growth.)
The one ENT I did see did perform a pretty thorough exam- sans a biopsy- and I don't think it's cancerous. He said- and I suppose I concur- that it's lymphatic tissue.
I'd really like to have it removed and tested. Can anyone advise on where to have it sent for histology? I'd like to get the whole shabang done- Lyme, coinfections, certain viruses, etc.
