Hi everyone-

Looking for some feedback.

Tests showed my progesterone levels were low and I have problems with irregular menstrual cycles and migraines.

So my OB/GYN prescribed 100mg bioidentical progesterone to take nightly for Day 1-14 of my cycle. I was previously using a cream which did not seem to do much.

Since I have started this last Wed I have had a definite increase in symptoms, especially arthritis and stabbing joint pains.

Anyone else experience this?

I don't know if its a herx or maybe my tindamax catching up with me (I am on week 4 of Tindamax daily) or a combination....

UGH- I was seeing more improvements before this!!

Thanks

Whoops- I meant to say I take the progesterone day 14-28 of my cycle, not 1-14.

when i took bio- identical progesterone, rx'ed for low levels. I had an increase of sx. mostly head pain/ migraine.

i had to stop, low levels or not...the pain was not worth it.

I would wait and see if it's a herx. Too many things going on at once!

I didn't have any increase in symptoms when I started the progesterone. Post-menopausal here, so that might make a difference. I take 200mg in the evening which helps my sleep problems a lot. If I still feel jittery I also use some of the topical cream to add another 80 mg or so.

I take it days 14-28 also....don't notice a difference. I bet it's the Tindamax.

Thanks everyone!!

Well, I just short cycled taking the progesterone and got my period a week early.

My whole body just seems totally out of whack.

Joint pain has subsided, but now my tremors/migraine/sore soles, etc are back which are similar to what I get premenstrually.

Oh the joy... [Smile]
