My LLMD has me using liquid fish oil now, so I can take more mg. I bought the brand (Pure Encapsulations) she sells as it's supposed to be good quality, but some people on my UC group helped me better understand EPA/DHA, fish oil.
So, now I know that it's EPA/DHA amt is not equivalent to the amt of fish oil in the dose, so it could mean it has fillers. Also, it is molecularly distilled. One site says it is good to have that, but another says it alters the oil and is not good. That seems to make sense to me.
I am wondering if any of you know of a good quality fish oil (liquid) that is free of contaminants, hasn't any fillers, equal EPA/DHA to the amt of oil, and is good tasting. Is that too much to ask? LOL Not expensive, too.

There is no such thing as a fish oil that's 100% EPA/DHA.
Closest may be some 90% or so brands.
A couple of good ones: Nordic Naturals and Minami. But both are expensive. Nothing wrong with the gel form either, and in fact, it possibly could be preferred as it protects the oil from oxidation a little better.
Another decent brand is Carlson, who makes a lemon flavored liquid. Tastes pretty good, but it comes in at around 30% of EPA/DHA, if I recall right. It is relatively inexpensive.
