Article on Fluoride in water... "Dr. Paul Connett, Professor of Chemistry at St. Lawrence University in New York, gives a damning interview on the history of water fluoridation, the collusion of major industries to put certified toxic waste into your drinking water, and why government health authorities refuse to conduct scientific studies into the dangers of fluoridation. After watching this video, you will never look at tap water the same way again."

However I believe it is calcium fluoride (or fluorite) is the naturally occuring mineral in our water.
Pro-fluoridation activists claim it is ok to add fluoride to water since it is a naturally occuring mineral, and they only add it in low concentrations.
The only problem is they usually use sodium fluoride since it is cheap (which is quite neurotoxic).
If I remember right, even naturally occuring fluorite has potential toxicity, but the crap we put in our water (sodium fluoride) is 70x more toxic.
So even if you get your water from a spring you are going to have fluoride (fluorite) in your water. It generally does not need to be filtered.
