I started bactrim and zithromax four days ago, and the first days I felt better than usual, but today my head is going to explode, my temples feel so swollen, and my neck is so stiff!! I must say that these abx have stopped the tingling and electric shocks I was starting to have, as well as the burning sensations. But my god, the head pain is terrible! Has anybody felt that while treating babesia?

Yes, I have been treating resistant babs for 2+ years, the head pressure and migranes are the worst for me. It does let up-keep with the program and be patient (easier said than done)
Hope next year is a healthier one!

I forgot to add-the only way I got through the pain was with tramadol and toradol. Taken together works well on the head pain-klonopin helps me with head pressure
good luck!

thanks for your help, it's a bit reassuring, may I ask both of you how long it took for the head pressure to lessen? Thx again!
