I got rid of mine by drinking mangosteen juice, an anti-inflammatory antioxidant juice, so my vote would be that floaters are caused by Lyme.

My experience is that after I started the salt/c protocol, I had what you describe exit my nose and smaller ones (grit like) exit my eyes.
Many people have described seeing what you're seeing and what I have experienced.

I've had floaters for years that look squigley. Sometimes straight, sometimes tied up in a knot.
But today I saw a new one that I've never seen before. It looked like one of those Roly Poly bugs if you uncurled it ( microscopically of course ). It kind of freaked me out, and then disappeared off to the side and I couldn't see it anymore.
I know floaters are really shadows of things floating across your retina field and what you see is not the real thing...just a shadow....but it was unsettling. I'd never see that type of floater before and it clearly was a critter. Just not sure what kind.
And why am I seeing it now after all these years of seeing the same kind of floater?
I wanna go back to my old life, please. This Lyme life is too creepy.

I would guess it could be either or both.

Almost everyone I know, lyme or not, has eye floaters. They may or may not be bacteria of some sort, but wouldn't necessarily jump to that conclusion.

- Usually nothing of too much concern, floaters are from debris, yet can also be from other medical eye conditions - so check with your eye doctor to be sure.
Antioxidants help gobble up "debris" but won't fix some of the more serious conditions that can cause sudden floaters. Liver support is also good for the eyes (and ears).

I posted something similar a few weeks ago. My son has tested positive for ascaris in his eye and brain (through electrodermal screening) and he hallucinates colored spots (balls) at night especially when the lights are turned out.
I suspect these colored balls are related to the parasites, since Gael said she had the same issue, which went away with parasite treatment.
These balls sound more like what Hambone saw recently, and do not sound like typical floaters.

Wow, Paul, your floaters are a lot more complicated than mine were, which kinda looked like floating specs. Yours are a piece of art...are you sure you haven't drawn us a sketch of xmas lighting?

Good job of depiction. This is very similar to what I have seen. At one point when I first started using salt/c and antiparasitic herbs,
the floaters turned into straight line zipping type lights that seemed to be running back and forth. Kinda like I felt at times

That's what I see, Paul. I was just laying outside on my bench trying to get some vitamin D, and I was staring up into the clear blue sky and I could see them so clearly.
Mine are, without a doubt, some kind of organism that has a tail. Lots of them. Some look like the picture on the Wikipedia page of a candida cell, and some look like microscopic tapeworms, although I doubt that's what it is. They just have that same flap-over-flap look.
