I would probably wait a week or two to make sure the site heals some first. Also make sure the statlock is taped firmly in place -- stitches are usually just too iritating for most people.
Hubby does about 50 pushups in sets of 25. He also has one of those rubberbands and does some exercises that his physical therapist suggested.
Bicep curls would probably not be a good idea -- would put too much strain on the line I think.
This is not medical advice, just my opinion based on hubby's experiences.

I tried to stay away from the arm exercises while on the Picc. I don't think it will feel right to do, once you get it.
