Has anyone this omnicef for dizziness, neuro lyme symptoms? If so, could you tell me the dose you were taking and did it help you at all. My llmd wants me to start biccilan shots but I am very leary of them and hate needles. Please help. Linda

Is Omnicef the same as Ceftin? Does it cross the blood-brain barrier?

it crosses the BBB a LITTLE, but certainly not great. it's in the same class as Ceftin, but is a later-stage ABX.
IM or IV meds would be a much better option for neurological issues (IMO).
