That's really cool
One thing I noticed though is that cereals are at the top of almost every vitamin and mineral list.
There's no way cereals can be that nutritious, right?
Look @ zinc for example

Yeah, I noticed that too. It's just because they are fortified with so many vitamins. I scanned past the cereals and looked for real foods.
We are gluten free anyway, so cereals are out!

Is there a way to find out how much fructose is in an apple? I couldn't quite get it.

Raw apple, with peel
Fructose 5.90 g
I put apple in the "Find Nutrition in One Food" box... clicked on go...
and on the next page I had all kinds of choices, anything with the word apple in it. Including menu items from Applebees!
I picked Apples, raw, with skin... and it listed the nutrients.
Granny smiths must not be entered yet because that page was blank.

THANKS, momlyme!! I've always wondered how much fructose was in certain fruits and could never find that info online or anywhere else.
Granny Smiths have the lowest amount of fructose, so that is great that whatever apple you chose had only 5-6 grams!

Oh how cool.....thanks a lot for sharing, that's a great site!
momlyme we are also gluten free and super sensitive and I wanted to let you know that Rice Chex, Corn Chex, Cinnamon Chex and Honey Nut Chex are all gluten free now.
KIX cereal is as well, but it's not manufactured in a gluten free facility so it's not labeled gluten free.
