Did it say "Igenex positive" near the IgM? It looks like that one is considered positive.

Four + on band 31 IgG means you've had it a LONG time!! That's what I had and my LLMD said that's what it means.

You can only tell exposure from a Western Blot. If you also have symptoms, that is what would indicate active infection.

Your IgM is IGENEX Positive (2 or more ** bands positive.) Bands 83/93 is lyme DNA. No arguing with that. YOu are negative CDC, but htat doesn't mean anything.

Your IgG also seems to be positive for Igenex, but negative CDC.

So...2 positives. bands 31 and 34 (also highly specific for lyme) typically take 1 year to show up.

So...from these results I'd say you have it. Mind you, I'm not an LLMD.

Bite date ?

The test shows positive - if you'd like to learn more about the interpretation, click on Quick Links to Popular Topics at the top of Medical, then click on Dr C's Western blot explanation and scroll down to the meaning of the bands.
