I was on ceftriaxone for 9 months so I know gall stones could be an issue, but I haven't had any pain. I developed gastritis and chronic diahrrea.
Could this be a sign of gall bladder problems? I'm having an abdominal cat scan in a few days, will that show anything?

Why a CT scan?? Usually you would do an ultra sound for gall stones. There is no radiation danger with ultra sound. There are huge amounts of radiation in CT scans. And I don't know why they would rx a CT for this rather than ultra sound.
Plus, diarrhea is usually from Candida or having the good bacteria stripped, rather than from gall stones. You need tons of the best probiotics---away from the abx. Plus, something for the Candida, if that is a factor, which it probably is.
Talk to your dr about the diarrhea, if you haven't already.

I had this problem before and after I had my gall bladder removed.

Rumigirl is right . . esp about the probiotics.
I just assumed the CT scan was for some other reason... and 2young was wondering if it would show something on the GB.(?)

There are some good herbal combinations for gall stones. You may also want to look into Hulda Clarks' concepts in this area. It's not for everyone, though.
I think it's better to give some of the alternative protocols a chance before getting it removed - if possible.
