I have recently begun treatment for lyme. I am on clarythromycin, nystatin and plaqenil. I have a polyp on my gall bladder and wonder if taking these meds might make it worse or cause gall bladder issues. I don't have classic symptoms in terms of pain after eating, just general discomfort in that area at times which is sort of beneath my ribcage on the right side. Having said that, I get pain throughout my body at times which can be extreme, so it's hard to distinguish it as just GB pain.

Any feebback would be much appreciated!

I had what I was told were polyps in my GB.. I chose at one point to have it removed and that is when they discovered I didn't have polyps at all, but rather thickening of the wall of the GB due to chronic inflammation. It was chronic GB disease.

I think you may want to do a HIDA scan at some point to determine how your GB is functioning.

I never used any meds and can't really tell you if they would affect it or not. Someone mentioned taking an orange peel product on here to help but I can't remember the name of the product. Maybe do a search..
