I went to a New Dr yesterday Dr Z in RI she is an RN MSN RNP who specializes in the treatment of Tick borne Diseases, she has lyme and co infections, Anyways she wants me to start the following: Myconil, Artemisia, Biotox Elim, SpiroNil, Adrenal desiccated, Folic Acid, B12.

I am currently on Xanax, Prilosec, Probiotics, I have a severe panic condition, I am scared to death to take these, but I want to get better, I don't know how to get past the aniexty of this.

Anyone out there heard of these or have you taken these, Anyone have this bad of panic attacks about taking meds and supplements.

I am desperate I am all alone!!

I dont like taking Prescription meds, had enough of them

It looks like she has put a herbal cocktail together for you.

Do some searching on each one, it sounds like a good mix to me.

I may try taking all these myself..

Good luck, let us know how you make out?

Myconil> Antifungal Cream

Artemisia> Herb also commonly known as wormwood or mugworth

Biotox Elim> herbal aid - Fight off toxic substances produced by living organisms...such as ticks

SpiroNil> herbal aid - Helps the body neutralize the effects of Lyme Disease

Adrenal desiccated> Some people with adrenal fatigue or unresponsive hypothyroidism have found that low-dose hydrocortisone at physiologic doses can help their immune system, and resolve many symptoms of adrenal fatigue.
Adrenal Fatigue / Adrenal Exhaustion

Folic Acid> is one of the B vitamins and it is necessary for the production of red blood cells and normal metabolism.

B12> benefits can help you to keep your vascular system, your brain and your nervous system.

The general rule is to start one thing at a time and to wait at least 2 or 3 days between each new item.

The spironil on your list is a "brand name" of teasel root. According to Buhner it works on Lyme for people in Wisconsin and Minnesota but doesn't do much for people who live elsewhere.

The last item I would add in is the artemesia. This is for babesia and could cause a herxheimer reaction. This may be used as a challenge to see if you really have babesia.

The other things are mostly for support and detox and should not really cause much of a reaction.

Just take it slow and come back to LymeNet to ask any questions as you add in the items. The program she has you on is not really for killing but just to help with some symptoms and strenghten you before you move on to real treatment.
