Anyone know anything about Bentonite? Dr's office closed on Fridays. Pretty sure this sudden worstening of symptoms is a Herx because I just began Bactrim to hit Bartonella on Monday nite? (I hope just a herx)

Has Bentonite helped anyone here while herxing? Anything it can do any harm if not herxing?

Thanks in advance,

Beagle

Bentonite is "clay?"
Sure do hope someone out there has experince with it. :/

little scared to eat clay? If it binds toxins is it also going to bind all the antibiotics and supplements?

I don't know how some of you have gone thru this "treatment" for years without jumping off a bridge! Six months of this and I'm ready to quit.

Deep respect for all of you who have been treating for years.

thks again,

Beagle

I use it daily. For me, it helps gut reactions and herxes tremendously. But I can't say I notice huge systemic improvements. Some, but not huge and widespread.

But no side effects for me. I did, however, start VERY slowly, at an 1/8 tsp and gradually, over months, built up to a tbs.

Do remember to mix the clay with a HUGE amount of water (I use a qt.) and always mix with some sort of fiber (I use cellulose).

I take this drink 3 hours on either side of meds or supps, and occasionally have dropped back to 2 hrs, and never have had any problems with meds getting swept away.

Good luck.

I'm taking European French clay water, and I'm herxing from that alone. It doesn't help with a herx, it creates one.
