I've been on Zith since Feb and Doxy since Jan. I ran out of my zithromyacin prescription about five days ago and didn't get it refilled due to money issues (it's so expensive)

I tried to have my llmd see if she could write me a script for a cheaper prescription but she never got back to me in time. Anyway every day since I stopped is a little worse than the day prior.

My joints/skin etc, pain all over and burning. I guess this is a sign I need to get back on that Zith. How bad is it that I skipped almost a week? Am I going to have a bad reaction if I start taking it again now?

I was put on the exact same meds at the same time as you, and I also had to stop them. For me though, it was because of my stomach. It just couldn't handle them. But that is not the point. I just wanted to see if you have access to Costco. You can get them online, I think. The Zithromax was like $60 or so, where it was $175 at my local pharmacy. I don't have any insurance. The local pharmacy matched Costco's price for me. It is still expensive, but not quite as bad.

Thanks for the tip, yeah the generic is about 200 a month! That's with my discount, it's really crazy. Makes me angry because my doxy is only 15 dollars. So what are you doing now that your not on the zith? I am so uncertain what to do at this point. They all hurt my stomach also, i just figured it's a necessary evil.
