Does one need probiotics if they aren't on abx?

What is a good brand of epa/dha? I take Pure Encapsulations that I get at my LLMD office, but need a brand that my son can get. (He doesn't live near me or I'd get him the PE.)

I just thought of another question. Is there a good multi-vitamin with a good amt. of vit. B in it?

TIA,
liz

You need probiotics if you are eating a lot of carbs or sugar on a daily basis...or if you have had years of abx and then go off of them.

It's simply a smart thing to do in my opinion.

I take the cheap fish oil.. but I think it's pretty good. No after-taste.

I use Carlson's... Vitacost.

Try New Chapter... (organic) and add more B's.

You can get New Chapter at Vitacost too.. it's a high quality brand.

The fish oil - is it mercury free? I don't even know if Pure Encapsulations is, but hope my LLMD researched it.

I don't know, liz. How can one ever trust what they are told about that?

Your LLMD is probably right.
