My mother just got results from IgeneX and EVERYTHING came back NEG!

She was bit over the summer on the wrist with something at left a red ring and was painful for weeks. She started abx a few weeks later, but still having pain in Joints/achy and especially where that bite was!

Disappointed that IgeneX came back Neg. Still following Abx, but disappointed!

anyone else this happen to?

Like absolutely negative? No bands at all on IgM/IgG? Please provide more details. Others may chime in.

My first WB, although not done through Igenex came back all negative. It was very disappointing; but as I treated, after a year I got an IGM CDC positive result, not through Igenex.

I think I prove that you can have a clinical diagnosis, at least to begin with, and still have LD.

I forgot to mention that I did a second WB 2 months into treatment and got an IGM 41 pos. It was some months later that I got IGM CDC pos.

This backed up my original clinical diagnosis, as so often happens with others.

I would think that if Lyme is still suspected that a CD 57 test from LabCorp or IGeneX would be warranted according to Dr. B's guidelines.

A score of 120 or over would be a good indicator that there no need for further antibiotics.

I had negative IgG but positive IgM after I'd been sick for a while.
Also negative Babs.

Something to think about.....

Did the people who did the blood draw handle it and process it correctly before sending it to Igenex?

If your mom continues to have symptoms, she should try and antibiotic challenge and then get retested.
