Add depressed, anxious, ultra sensitive to sounds, and like I want to crawl out of my skin to that list. I am feeling many of the same things I felt before I was hospitalized for psychosis before I started abx 2 months ago.
I'm wondering why I'm feeling this bad now, and my guess is that it might be at least one of two reasons....Which seems most likely?
I was off doxycycline from Thursday until today, because I was throwing up too much. My doctor changed me to tablets instead of capsules, and he lowered the dose from 400mg/day to only 200. Could I be feeling this way because I went without the abx for 5 days?
In that case, wouldn't that be a good sign that the medication is/was working?
Another reason I'm thinking of is that the doc gave me meds to break down the biofilm around the cysts that lyme protects itself in. So maybe that's bringing the lyme out and the abx are fighting it even more, causing a herx-like reaction?
What do you think?

Oh, and I ended up getting lost and driving around in circles when on my way to pick up my kids at daycare. I also had to remind myself to stop at stop signs.
