I've read that it is good to load up on Vit C, Magnesium, and ALA while on Factive or Levaquin to avoid tendon issues.

How much do / did you take?

Also...I have noticed very mild discomfort in my Achilles, but it isn't getting any worse. Is this normal?

Be careful. The achilles is the most commonly ruptured as a side effect from levaquin. Cannot speak to Factive. I've seen many achilles ruptures/repairs in my day. Trust me when I say it's something you don't want to experience.

I'm on Factive so it is less of an issue with this drug. But I am being VERY careful.

My LLMD has me on 2,000mg of C and 400mg of Magn., but I had to stop the Factive and Flagyl. Severe abdominal issues with them, metallic taste, constant nausea.

Still taking the C and Mag. though.
