Bigtime.
Could be from Sjogren's.

I use OTC Systane drops. Can't say they do much though.

That is my sincere belief. I also have Raynaud's. Many have both.

My Lyme is gone. I get leftovers! [Wink]

Yes. I think in my case it is from Lyme and not Sjogren's, since I don't have dry mouth.

I use Optique 1, a homeopathic eye drop. None of the other over-the-counter eye drops (such as Systane) work for me (I react to ingredients in them). The Optique 1 has saline and homeopathy, no sugar like the others.

Lyme and coinfections gave me dry eye and dry mouth. I had to doctor for both of them. They were really, really bad.

Once I got to a good lyme doctor and got good treatment, both the dry eye and the dry mouth went away--along with all of the other horrible symptoms this disease gave me.

I completed my lyme treatment 6 years ago. I am still symptom free, enjoying my life. I don't have any "left overs" from my 10 years of undiagnosed lyme, babs, and bart.

First, I had 2 years of lousy lyme treatment. That didn't get rid of the dry eye and dry mouth. The lousy treatment was just one, high-dose antibiotic that treated only lyme disease.

So, perhaps it was my babs and bart that caused the dry eye and dry mouth. I really don't know.

I know the 2 years of lousy lyme treatment helped me, but it didn't get me to symptom free, and I eventually began to get other terrible lyme symptoms. So, it didn't get rid of the lyme and it was even progressing on this treatment.

Then I switched to a doc who followed the Burrascano protocol. That's what did it for me.

I thank God for deliverance from this disease every day. I will thank Him for this for the rest of my life.

I think that Bartonella gives you eye symptoms. I just use eye drops and that helps for now...until these critters die!

Lymetoo, I have both, too! I'm sure from Lyme and co. I was diagnosed with both in the late '80's, long before being diagnosed with Lyme. What do you take/do for the two??

It's really bad. All of a sudden last fall I had at least 5 cavities and needed several crowns from the dry mouth!! And I don't eat refined foods at all. And I religiously brush, floss, etc. Arggh!
