I am considering going ahead with IV chelation to get rid of mercury.

For those of you who have done IV chelation were you on abx for lyme while doing it or were you completely off abx?

Thank you Whitney. Just sent you a PM.

Anyone else do IV chelation while on lyme meds?

I am on Flagyl, Rifampin and Amoxy and doing fine on those meds.

Thank you!

I think the only reason you might not want to do both together was if you were just too weak or started herxing too bad to be able to handle both at the same time. My first IV edta push, the doc gave me a half dose just to make sure I could handle it. He always follows the EDTA push with a push of nutrients, b vitamins, c, magnesium are the main ones he gives I think. That may differ based on your labs and what nutrients you need.
