For about a month I have had a pain in my left foot that runs from below my little toe down to my heel. Just on the outside, not the bottom. It almost feels like a spur or break-not that I have ever had those, just sounds like it.
Very painful and I walk with a limp. Guess after a month it is time to see my GP.
Any ideas?

Could be Lyme/Bart... I get strange foot pain all the time from one or both of these infections... Have you asked your Lyme doc about this?

My feet soles, tops, sides can change any minute.
I've always felt is was bart. There is some reading in search feature back 5 yrs on this site that said...west coast foot pain is suppose to be babesia.
So you might check out babesia with being from WA. I will look for this old post and see if this person had any url info in posts.

Oh I can walk. I'm a very tolerate pain person even after years of this stuff. I just limp alot out of the blue.
In the morning when I first get out of bed oh my I must force myself to walk to BR and to the coffee , then too the dining room table for newspaper.
As the morning goes along it's better then I go into different type of foot problems during the day.
My luck bart owns me in the morning and babs had owned me later in the day. Bart I've known for many years now that he was my enemy.
The fact that I'm dealing with possible babs infection all these years buried (?) or a recent embedded tick in the last year has given me babs.....
I think I would have to have a good cry before I stood up to another mean son of a gun. I'm so tired.
I did life with my family the last 2 days. Cousin in from out of state that we hadn't seen in years. We did fun in our city yesterday afternoon.
Sat night home with order in pizza our place. I sat and talked. Last night few hours of I sat and laughed at my sisters (tick infested teritory and I wore pre-treated t-shirt and pre-treated ball cap, too hot to wear heavy socks, I sprayed my feet and legs big time) home.
I feel like I've been on a Ironman marathon and somebody beat the crap out of me with a baseball bat.
I'm in tears now. Getting myself ready for detox bath. Lord, let it help me. I don't want to be whimpy today but the couch is mine.
liz, sometimes my husbands touch can feel like abuse. Even his attempt at rubbing. If he stepped on my feet today I might have to punch him out.

Dogsandcats, I definitely have the kind of pain you are talking about. It's intermittent. I think it's inflammation of the tendons/ligaments that run along the side of the foot.
Have you tried icing it? It also helps to wrap it with a foot wrap for a few days. Mine always hurts worse at night. The bartonella foot pain is always worse in the morning.
