I also am going to list the 5 various considerations I am using for diet and for this disease that for me overlap and take into consideration the disease and treatment of biofilms, infections and
1. Fat intake monitoring / reduction - Treating blood to breakdown and reduce biofilm to help body and medications get at the bugs
2. Bioflavonoids Bioflavonoids are plant-derived chemicals that belong to a larger family called phytochemicals. Act as a natural antibiotic. Cleanse the body of toxins and much more.
3. Anti Inflammation diet considerations. What overlaps here I take into consideration but fat intake monitored takes priority as well as Bioflavonoids.
4. The Low Arginine and L lysine considerations For those who do not know L Lysine can be used to treat viral infections and combat arginine in your body from foods you ate that have high arginine content.
Take into consideration foods high in arginine foods and avoid them and supplement with a good 3 grams of L lysine a day or if you do so great on the diet sometimes I used l lysine when I mess up and eat something I should not have to counteract it. One link but you can find many on line and some lists that are the opposite. Showing foods high in arginine and what to avoid. Just do a search.
5. Food Allergies - Restrictions based on food allergies from either test results or your own technique of elimination diet. Many of us are allergic to gluten and dairy and those two are main obvious ones. Others you each have to figure out for yourselves but this can help with inflammation reduction and overall immune improvement etc.
I hope people find these links and ideas helpful as when I started out I did not know what to consider and what may help me in the diet area and why. I have worked hard on myself in this area and I used these areas I listed to create a diet that worked for me and was taylored to me. It is quite strict yes. And I do go through phases of it where i am much more strict than others and I do give myself a once a week or two day off. Not all out but restricting 100 percent and constantly can make affect your mood I find and that is not good and a day here or there off is worth it to make a smile and keep motivation going. Just my opinion. I am not a doctor and nor do i have facts for any of the way I have formulated my diet.
I buy organic foods and nothing processed. And once you go through all these considerations you do have to get creative on how you cook and what you eat. But it is doable and workable and it is very helpful.
Let me know what you think. Is a learning process and I know I still have more to learn and always wanting to learn from others as well as share.
