Generally I am feeling better lately but
now I get sleep apnea every night.

Never had it before. I think it started with/after the parasite treatment.

Does this make sense to somebody?

It is better with a big pillow and sleeping on the side, but it is strange.

Yes! For me, it is Babesia.

Herbal parasite treatments hit Babesia, as do some Rx parasite meds. You could have stirred up your Babs and had some die-off.

This was one of my daughters symptoms. We considered it from Babs as well. Took quite a few months to go away.

How do you know you have apnea? You really need a sleep study to determine that.

I have had it about 4 years.

my tongue and throat swell and that causes apnea. its much better since abx but it still happens when I'm on my back.

I've had many, many sleep studies. I have apnea and wear a CPAP.

Even with my CPAP, I still have nights with episodes of apnea. You can tell when you're not breathing. My husband can also tell when I'm not breathing. He says it freaks him out.

Thank you all. I had not done a sleep study but I am sure I stop breathing and then wake up.

I was always negative for babesia - but maybe
it got activated by the herbs.

Still clueless, not sure why it is now.
I had MG and I think it might have to do with weak muscles in my throat and the herbs.
Weird it happened when I got better.
