My lyme symptoms have always been nerve pain, muscle twitching, burning pain, fatigue but not really a lot of "head symptoms"

I recently started with a new LLMD and was prescribed Biaxin after 4 weeks I added septra. I had some bad days when beginning a new med which for me means more pain but adjusted and had some good days too.

After 2 weeks of taking the 2 I added planquinal. I had to stop because of severe nausea, dizziness, headache, like the flu. I thought it was a drug reaction but am still having these symptoms 9 days later.

I have been treating lyme for 2 years and have never had this type of reaction.

Any similar stories or suggestions as to what may be going on.

I am not taking the planq. But am supposed to start malarone asap.

I agree with Lymetoo. Babesia herx.

You'll likely herx even more on Malarone!

Be sure to do your detox. It will help you feel better.

Well, septra treats babesia, so it could certainly be a babs herx or flare.
