Brief recap-I've been off antibiotics for months now after 120 days of low dose.
During that time I took Florastor and a 50 billion count probiotic.
End of April I felt great for two weeks and my Lyme symptoms seemed to be almost very minimal.
I took a break from the Samento/Banderol Cowden protocol.
I resumed the Samento.
I've been having pelvic/colon tenderness, pain, bloating, gas that comes and goes.
Sitting for longer periods at work seems to increase the pelvic pain.
When my gut gurgles it gurgles loudly and low down front and back sides. I can hear and feel it below the tail bone and about pubic bone level.
I had a pelvic/transvaginal ultrasound a month and a half ago and it was normal. Colonoscopy Jan 2009 normal.
I stopped certain foods/pills I thought were making it worse and it's not helping.
I know many of you think this could be yeast.
How do I know for sure if it is? I don't have the vaginal d/c nor coated white tongue.
I do have IC and think some of this could be related but not sure.
I don't want to ignore anything that may be more serious.
Input welcomed.

Are you still taking probiotics? You may have stopped antibiotics, but the good bacteria in the gut can take a while to recolonize.
I have found that when I drink Kefir for a while, any gas is minimal.
Interstitial cystitis? Have you looked into D-Mannose? The people who reviewed it at iHerb.com have found it to help.

I am taking a 50 billion count probiotic. I thought about resuming the Florastor even though it's an expense I can't afford. I took that while on abx along with the 50 billion count probiotic.
Hadn't heard about the D-Mannose. Will give it a try.
Thank you.

Thanks for the D-Mannose information. It sounds like it's worth a shot.
