For the last three weeks my blood work has come back showing low kidney function. I did the 24 hour urine/blood test and it came back low. I just got a fax from the doc ( LLMD) and it said -keep watching.
I am on some heavy antibiotics. Since I am not close to my lllmd I made an appt to see my GP. I don't know if this is serious or not.
I know we aren't supposed to post our protocol, but would like some input. Thanks

Have you been to a nephrologist - he is for kidneys but does not know lyme. But he might know which abx is harmful for kidneys, f.e. gentamycin is a no and all --mycins are bad for kidneys.
You could look for side effects of your meds on the internet. You should not take abx now which are probably metabolized by the kidney - but I am not a doctor, the nephrologist could tell you.
The kidney can be damaged from bacteria and parasites ( very often the reason). They call it autoimmune disease, also see roadback.org for the newer treatment and ask for docs there.

Toxic mold was suppressing our immune systems, causing extreme pain, brain fog and magnifying symptoms. Four days after moving out, the healing began. Posts: 2007 | From NY/VT Border | Registered: Aug 2010
