My waist and abdomen look swollen. I have been taking salt/c for 5 days and since then i have blown up like a toad frog. Gained 5 pounds in one week. I am not on any meds (haven't been to LLMD yet) and just take mag. Tested neg for co's but pos for Lyme. I was on doxy a mnth ago for just two weeks. Did a lot of research and it sounds like Bart. even though my test was negative. I have been on a low carb diet and usually within two weeks I am at normal weight, but something has gone haywire. Any thoughts on what could be happening?

I'm no expert with the salt/c protocol but I would stop if you're having this swelling.
It is possible that you have a sensitivity to salt as well.
You should try to get your BP checked too. Make sure that isn't up which can happen sometimes if we retain fluid. You can go to the drugstore and just use the machine.

I checked my BP last night and it was 109/68. I have never had a BP problem. I think i will stop and see what happens. Is there something else I can try for parasites besides salt/c?
