I notice on some nights that I actually act out my dreams. For example, a few times I've been dreaming I'm eating something and I wake up to find myself chewing.
Or sometimes it's sports related: I dreamed I was playing soccer and I actually kicked. This morning I dreamed I was playing basketball and my arm shot out like I was shooting the ball.
Is this happening to anyone else? I also have the muscle jerks when i'm falling asleep but this is different.
I'm really scared. If anyone is experiencing this symptom (acting out dreams), please let me know.

Yes, yes, yes. When I started treating Lyme I did this a bunch of times over a few month period. I remember conducting an orchestra, cutting with scissors in particular. I thought I was losing it and had never done this before in my life.

I was wondering if Ambien for example was making you do this. People can end up eating at night and not even know they did it... or driving their car when they didn't know it!!!
But yes, I take Ambien. NO bad effects at all.
I do think, however, that I have occasionally acted out my dreams in limited fashion. I dont' think I was on Ambien at the time.
