I know that Mepron is supposed to be taken with Zith or Biaxin... I was on it before with Biaxin because my insurance company wouldn't cover the zith.
Currently, my LLMD has me on Mepron and Augmentin.

I was on the same, but only because zith caused ear ringing, and biaxin caused severe acid reflux for me. It seemed to work fine for me, I know many don't believe Mepron can be used without a macrolide. I treated for 4 months and then my Bart symptoms came full force. I am now treating Bart and so far so good with no Babs symptoms. After I stopped Mepron, I started A-Bab just to be safe.
