I have a little conundrum I hope you can help me with.
Long story short, I have several reasons to feel that lead is an issue for me and I want to do something about it.
I decided on Detoxamin.
Trouble is, it says it also detoxes iron, and I am already struggling to keep my iron level up.
And I suspect the reason for having a hard time keeping my iron up is because of lead!
How do I try to detox lead without sucking all of the iron out of me?
Obviosuly I know to just keep taking iron along with the Detoxamin, but will it just keep pulling out what I put in?
( Why can't anything be easy for once? )

I don't know if there are any other options for you. I don't know of any. But, I did want to chime in with an idea for iron for you in case you were not aware.
I really struggled with something nutritionally when I treated babesia, and I really feel it was iron. I was taking a lot of spirulina and craving it back then, and it is high in iron (7mg per teaspoon). It helped a lot. I used Nutrex brand.

My LLMD has me using EDTA suppositories [Detoxamin basically] and oral DMSA for 3 days out of 14.
On the remaining 11 days I have to build up my minerals with Pure Encapsulations' Minaral 650 [3 caps, twice a day....includes iron] and Biopure's CORE [for KPU].
As well as mineral rebuilding, another reason for the 11 days' gap is that it gives your body's glutathione supplies a chance to replenish themselves before the next 3 days of chelation.
By the way, according to the Doctor's Data Urine Toxic Metals [post provocation with DMSA], I have very high lead [more than 3 times the toxic limit] and high mercury [at least twice toxic limit].

Thanks Michael. I've always wondered about Babs. I tested negative for it with Igenex and ART and I never really had that air hunger thing so many people talk about. BUT, my plan was to see if lead was the cause first, and if that doesn't help with the iron, then it points more to Babs.

That's a good idea. The days I don't use it, I will focus on rebuilding my mineral stores. The directions say to use every other day, but I think I will do 3 days on, 11 days off like you and see how that works. Thanks.
I just worry because my last ferritin test was a 5. I don't have any to spare.
