I am doing a cleanse and this week (the beginning) has been focused on parasites. It says if you have any discomfort you could have parasites. I was wondering could discomfort other than your gut (colon) be from parasites?

It figures I just did a lot of movement one day that could've stirred up the pain in my upper back and shoulders. Plus, I stopped my calcium for the cleanse and that is what had ultimately resolved the pain (the cleanse says to stop any meds or sups that you can). I started the calcium again yesterday.

Anyway, could parasites be the cause of my upper back pain?

TIA,
liz

I just finished a parasite cleanse a few days ago. (Parastroy) From what I was reading, it sounds like these suckers can cause all sorts of syptoms.

I'm obviously not a doctor, but it sounds like the symptom list looks similar to that of Lyme and Candida, so basically I figure that hitting them all is probably a good thing.

I know that doesn't answer your question per se, but I was only saying that it sounds like they can definitely cause something like this. Good luck and keep us posted.

Cathy,

It's enough to drive one crazy when there are so many things that can cause the same symptoms. I have said this over and over. If only there was a way to know all the time, so you would know how to get relief, know how to treat.

I am going to do the follow up para cleanses. I need to up my virgin coconut oil, too (for candida) but not until after the para cleanse.

J-Liz,

It sounds like you are on a good path. I too have been reading that we should tackle the parasites before the hard core focus on getting rid of the candida.

Once we have lyme and co's and have been on treatment for any length of time, I think the other two are a given, so one step at a time. Good luck.
