My daughter (13 yrs) has been having extreme tooth pain. It appears to me that her wisdom teeth are coming in. I have spent some time reviewing earlier posts about tooth pain and see that others have had this symptom. We have a dental appt scheduled in a month, but have not seen dentist for 18 mos.
Isn't she much too young for wisdom teeth? She lost baby teeth very young (beginning about age 5). Does lyme speed up growth/maturation? I have concerns because of very high TGFb1.
Any one with similar experience? Any suggestions for pain relief? What to do if dentist recommends extraction?

Dental situations can be so tricky. I'm no expert, but just a few thoughts... First, make sure you see a good biological dentist. This is super important. And if extractions are necessary (at some future point they may be), make sure your bio dentist is familiar with ozone. Ozone injections are great for healing, eliminating infection, etc.
As a side note, make sure your daughter does not have a zinc deficiency (this is the main deficiency that a lot of us have associated with KPU (in addition to other deficiencies); if you're not familiar, read up and do a search here on Lymenet). I remember Dr. K lecturing saying it could be a big problem healing from tooth extractions if there is a zinc deficiency. This has been a big issue for me personally. Hint on one way to tell if you have a zinc deficiency -- you see white spots on our finger nails. White spots mean there is definitely a deficiency. No white spots does not necessarily mean there is a deficiency. Since I have been treated for KPU (zinc deficiency) with the Core supplement, I have now noticed more white spots coming out on my nails. Strange, but maybe it's part of the correction?? I don't know.
Regarding pain, I'd check into some good homeopathic remedies. A good health food store should be able to guide you.
Best to you, Tammy
