So are cystbusters necessary? Which ones? How long? Thanks.

Yes they are necessary. You don't have to be on them from day 1 of treatment though. It can be too much to do it right away.

There is Flagyl and Tindimax (which is supposed to be gentler than Flagyl).

Also I believe Grapefruit Seed Extract drops are the herbal route for cyst busters.

The correct spelling is Tindamax. It is more expensive that Flagyl, but better IMHO

My LLMD says plaquenil is also a cyst buster.

Thomas - make sure to not have any alcohol whatsoever when you are taking either cystbuster.

Our LLMD has our daugher using mepron as a cyst buster versus Tindamax or Flagyl. He considers Flagyl as the same family as Tindamax and my daughter had an issue with Tindamax.

She has toleraged Mepron (so far) so he has keep her on it. However she was not showing any Lyme improvement until we added the tindamax.
