I'm taking a break from abx, due to yeast/GI issues. Been off Bicillin for almost 4 weeks and Omnicef for 5 days.
This is the first time that I have taken a break from abx since I started treatment. And although its a bit to soon to tell for certain if my symptoms are truly coming back, vs just sporadic flukes... I am wondering.
My vision is going blurry on me again (which was my first sypmtom) and had shooting nerve pain today down my right elbow.
In the past, when you have taken a break off of antibiotics, how long has it taken for your lyme symptoms to come back?

I haven't been tested for co-infections. However, I think that i am at least positive for Bartonella based on symptoms....
But, my Dr is Lyme friendly, not really lyme literate. And knows nothing about co-infections (self admitted)
Thanks for responding.

my coinfections come back within 5 weeks (babesia) and lyme takes about 5 months before I notice memory loss again. But, everyone is different and the treatments you were doing make a difference also.
