Cany anyone tell me how Septra suspension which is Bactrum in liquid form,(A sulfa abx) is on the gut.
I am now on bicillin, Levaquin and just started a real low dose of Septra today. I'm taking nyastatin, malarone and cryptolepsis also. I'm to ramp up to a full dose of Septra twice a day. For babs, bart and Lyme.
I am really nervous how I am going to tolerate all these meds together, as I have a weak digestive system. Upper and lower issues.
I'm also worried about allergic reactions wihich I understand a lot of people have to this.
Is Septra going to push me over the edge with diarreah and possibly c. Diff? Or nausea?
I've been pretty much tolerating the other meds, but just started Septra now, one tsp, and am to ramp up to four tsp 2x daily.
Does anyone know how it is on the system for someone like me, especially together with all the other meds?
Am taking three probiotics, but am still very nervous.

Bactrim/malarone put me in remission-unfortunately, I was on real low doses and relapsed. But I had no problems with bactrim.
