I have been on Flagyl for almost 1 month, low dose 1/4 pill have gotten up to 1/2 pill but only for 3 days and then back to 1/4.
This is the only abx I am currently on.
I will do my best to explain the symptoms I am experiencing with hopes that someone could "shed some light" on possible co-infection.
I get surges of these feelings: cool tingly chest, neck and arms sharp pain in upper left back numb tingly left front side of neck head pain above ears head pressure on top of head warm tingly sensation in head face tingly
warm itchy tingly skin chills
surge sometimes causes tremors/twitching of head and arms
when the surge comes on strong it makes me feel "mad" in the head
sometimes takes my breath away and makes me cough
This started 3 days ago. I have felt these symptoms before, not this strong and it was before I started abx treatment.

Have you reported your symptoms to your doctor? If not, you should. They may not be Lyme related at all. Could be heart related or a number of other things that need attention.
Your list doesn't ring any bells for me, so do please check with your doc, especially if the symptoms get any worse.
Hope you are feeling better soon.
BTW- It might be easier if you would make one post rather than several little ones. That way folks here can get a bigger "overall" picture of what is going on and no one is repeating themselves.

How many weeks have you been taking abx?? You will have major herxing every 3-5 wks and we just had a full moon, so you get an extra whammy.
and sure, if you are worried, call your LLMD
Those symptoms don't really sound like a coinfection to me.

All of the tingly feelings are called neuropathy. Lyme is the typical cause of neuropathy, as it attacks our nerves.
My lyme doctor had me take sublingual (under the tongue) vitamin B for neuropathy. Be sure you don't forget and just swallow the pill. It has to dissolve under the tongue. Here is what Burrascano says:
"5. VITAMIN B (required). Clinical studies demonstrated the need for supplemental vitamin B in infections with Borrelia, to help clear neurological symptoms. Take one 50 mg B-complex capsule daily. If neuropathy is severe, an additional 50 mg of B-6 can be added. Generics are OK." (page 28)
It is best if you take all of the supplements Burrascano marks as required.
Other than that, you have head pain and back pain. Those sound like lyme also. Why not study the few pages in Burrascano where he mentions the symptoms of babs, bart, and ehrlichia--pages 26 and 27. Perhaps once you read these, you will realize that you have other symptoms also. If not, you may just be feeling lyme symptoms right now.
Sometimes, once the lyme is successfully treated, the symptoms of the coinfections then come out. I don't know what state you are in, but in Maryland and the surrounding states, everyone with lyme also has babs and bart. No exceptions.
Since these 2 coinfections are so commonly found with lyme, some lyme doctors automatically treat every lyme patient for all 3.
