My son and I have been on mino since early this summer. Since we are finally out of the sunny season in Houston is there something to be gained by switchind to Doxy? For a least till early spring.
My son is a life guard while attending college and will be in the direct sun light come the end of March.
We are also pulsing with Flagyl on the weekends.
All the Best, MattH

I think Mino is supposed to have better BBB penetration, but if the Doxy is at a high enough dose, it should as well.
I took Doxy all through the summer here - went to the beach for a week and never had any issues. (at one time I thought I had Doxy burn but it ended up being an allergic reaction).
Be aware that long term Mino is on the list for causing drug induced Lupus.
