What are some brands of Coconut water that are "unsweetened"?
Also, is coconut sugar an ok sweetener?
Have been doing some research but could use some advice.
Thanks!

OMG - I bought GOYA coconut water the other day... thinking it was what it said it was. Ugggh. It has sugar in it. I usually read every label. I didn't even look because I thought it was JUST what it said---coconut water! Who would add sugar to coconut water???

Try Tropical Traditions. You can find them on-line.

Have you looked into Capryl?
It is the "active ingredient" in the "medicinal food" called Axona.
Caprylic acid. It is one of the many things in coconut oil.
Best taken with food.
Dosage/timing??? I wish I knew.
Check with your doc first.
In the liver (if the liver is healthy) caprylic acid converts to a ketone called BHB which CAN cross the BBB (blood brain barrier) and enter the cell's citric acid cycle -> more ATP.
Which is the goal.
Very similar to a dangerous diet called the ketogenic diet...supply energy to starving cells.
You see...we need a lot of glucose. So do pathogens. But in a jam, WE can substitute ketones to supply energy.
Too many ketones are dangerous. Which is why the original Atkin's diet was so dangerous (kidney shutdown).
Have you ever seen the true life DVD called "First Do No Harm" starring Meryl Streep?
It will give you a different perspective.
I highly recommend this incredible true story.
